Follow the steps below to submit a Pronouns Request through the ECA Service Desk Portal.

1. Open the Pronouns Request page

Go to:
Service Catalogue / IT / Pronouns Request

2. Sign in using ECA SSO

  • A Login button will appear.
  • Click Sign in with SSO and authenticate using your ECA credentials.
  • After logging in, you will be taken directly to the Pronouns Request form.

3. Enter your pronouns

  • In the Pronouns field, type the pronouns you want displayed in your email signature.
  • Do not add brackets — the system automatically inserts brackets when generating the signature.
  • Examples include:
    • she/her
    • he/him
    • they/them
    • she/they
    • he/they
    • or another set of your choice

4. Confirm your requester details

  • Your ECA email address will auto‑populate in the Requester field.
  • No changes are required unless something appears incorrect.

5. Submit the request

  • Click Place Request in the top‑right corner of the page.
  • Your request will be sent to the IT team for processing.

6. Receive confirmation

  • You will receive an automatic confirmation email once your request has been logged.
  • The IT team will update your signature according to your submitted pronouns.
